Tolar Petroglyphs

The Tolar Petroglyphs site is located near Rock Springs in southwestern Wyoming. Trains run beside the busy freeway, and Wyoming Department of Transportation stockpiles are located near the Tolar Petroglyphs seen here on the ridge at the far left of this slide.

I first delivered this preliminary investigation report at the Plains Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 11th. Clicking on the photograph will enlarge the view. Click the red arrow to learn more about Tolar Petroglyphs.
